1. About us and these terms
-
Last updated: 6 June 2026
Round Pebble Productions is a trading name of Natalie Inwood, who runs the business as a sole trader based in England. Jeff Inwood is co-founder, and together Jeff and Natalie Inwood jointly own the copyright in Round Pebble's scripts, backdrops and other creative work (see clause 8). In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Round Pebble Productions, and "you" means the person or school using this website or buying from us. Our correspondence address is Lytchett House, 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset, BH16 6FA, United Kingdom. These terms govern your use of roundpebble.co.uk and any purchase you make through it. By using the site or placing an order, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
2. What we sell
-
We sell digital products for primary school theatre: original rhyming scripts, animated digital backdrops, and accompanying production materials, supplied as downloadable files. We do not ship physical goods. Our main products are "Play-in-a-Box" packages for a named production (for example, A Rhyming Christmas Carol), sold in tiers — currently Script Edition, Stage Edition and Screen Edition. The contents of each tier are described on the relevant product page.
3. How our products are licensed
-
Our products have two parts, which work differently. Backdrops and production materials are owned outright: once you have bought them, you keep the files for as long as you wish, for any school use connected with your production, with no recurring fees. The script is licensed for performance, not sold: your purchase includes a licence to perform the script for one production year (12 months from purchase), with unlimited performances at your school within that year. To perform in a later year, you buy an annual renewal licence at the price shown on the site. You keep the script files either way; only the right to perform in public renews. Full licence terms — including who may perform, audience and admission limits, attribution, and what is not permitted — are set out in our Licence Agreement, which is supplied with your purchase and forms part of these terms. Where these terms and the Licence Agreement differ on a licensing question, the Licence Agreement applies.
From time to time we offer free pilot programmes for selected schools under a separate Founding Pilot School Agreement that sets out the terms of that participation. If you are taking part in such a programme, that Agreement governs the commercial relationship between us. References in these terms to purchase, payment, refunds and renewal do not apply to you. The Licence Agreement still governs your use of the files.
4. Prices, tax and payment
-
Prices are shown on each product page and at checkout. UK prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any UK VAT that applies. Prices for other markets are shown in the relevant currency, and any sales tax due is calculated and shown at checkout. We accept payment by card, and schools may pay by purchase order using the "Pay by School Purchase Order (invoice)" option at checkout, with payment due as stated on the invoice. We reserve the right to correct any pricing error before your order is fulfilled.
5. Delivery of your files
-
Your files are delivered digitally. After your order is confirmed — immediately for card payments, or once payment is received and marked as paid for purchase orders — you receive a secure download link by email. Please download and back up your files promptly. If a link expires or a file is faulty, contact us via our Contact page and we will re-supply it.
6. Refunds and cancellation
-
Because our products are digital and delivered by download: you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided the files have not been downloaded (download status is recorded by our delivery system); once files have been downloaded, the purchase is non-refundable, save for your statutory rights and the exceptions below; and renewal licences are final on purchase, because the new licence year begins immediately and no files are re-delivered. Outside the 14-day undownloaded window, we may still offer a refund or replacement at our discretion — for example if files are corrupted and cannot be re-supplied in working order, or were substantively misrepresented at the time of sale. To request a refund, contact us via our Contact page, quoting your order number. Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
7. Acceptable use of files
-
The licence we grant is limited. In summary, you may not: share or distribute the files to other schools (including within the same trust or federation); resell, rent or lend them; publish or adapt the script beyond cast-and-crew copies; remove copyright notices or attribution; or use the materials for commercial or professional productions. The full list of permitted and prohibited uses is in the Licence Agreement. Misuse may result in the licence being terminated.
8. Intellectual property
-
All scripts, backdrops, animations, designs and production materials on this site are jointly owned by Jeff and Natalie Inwood and are protected by copyright. They are sold and licensed through Round Pebble Productions, the trading name under which Natalie Inwood trades as a sole trader. Buying a product gives you the licence described above and in the Licence Agreement; it does not transfer ownership of any of our work to you. The Round Pebble Productions name and logo are our property and may not be used without permission.
9. Use of the website
-
You agree to use this site lawfully, and not to misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or disrupt its operation. We may update, suspend or withdraw any part of the site, and may update these terms, at any time. The version of these terms in force when you place an order applies to that order.
10. Privacy
-
We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it. By using the site you agree to that policy.
11. Our responsibility to you
-
We take care to describe our products accurately and to supply files that work. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for problems caused by your own equipment or by circumstances outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. None of this affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Governing law
-
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your home jurisdiction.
